Sad News Ghost Whisperer has been CANCELLED
I never thought I would have to write those words, as much as season 5 of Ghost Whisperer just wasn’t the same I still loved the show, I was holding on for Season 6 changes, sadly it seems that day may not come.
My show , Our beloved tv show The Ghost Whisperer has been Cancelled.

- The cancellation of Ghost Whisperer is perhaps the most surprising move
. While the show has never had really huge ratings, it has consistently been the winner in its Friday night time slot. Some sources speculate that Old Christine might be picked up by ABC as the network has previously expressed interest in picking up the series. Ghost Whisperer, however, may well be gone for good.”

ABC’s entertainment president, Stephen McPherson, has said that he’d be interested in picking up Ghost Whisperer if the series became available. ABC scheduler Jeff Bader told Variety today that they’ve toyed with the idea. He said, “We talked a lot about it. It could make a good lead-in to Body of Proof.”
To keep costs down, ABC has been committed to running only one scripted series on Friday nights but the execs will supposedly look at the possibility of picking up Ghost Whisperer in the next few days.

I want to start out by saying Ghost Whisperer is a awesome show, I have to say this show is like the shows that use to be on back in the 70’s& 80’s 90’s without all the crime drama and gang shows and the reality shows.
I am speaking for me and the other viewers out there who love this show we are so disappointed in CBS that you would cancel (GW).
Please make it worth your while to check out face book and see how many people you’re upsetting.
People like me who work very hard and are stressed due to the way the world is today and negative and the shows out today (crime, gang, reality) shows we want to be able to come home on a Friday night from working hard a full week or people stressed because they can’t find a job want to be able to watch a show that is calming and relaxing to watch. And would be able to forget the problem that is happening in the real world
We understand that you want to make room for other new shows we understand that but why not just keep Ghost Whisperer’s to the same time frame and put the newer shows on earlier. Just don’t go and cancel it.
We the viewers is what is important. We pay for the cable to watch a show then you cancel it and the funny thing is you cancel a poplar shows and keep the dumb one’s that don’t have high ratings.
Please go on face book and go under Ghost Whisperer and see all the disappointment your doing to the viewers.

I truely hope you are not cancelling this show it is one of my favorites I have’nt missed an episode and am still watching all the repeats every night that come please don’t cancel I woukld hate to egg the studios I love Jennifer Love Hewitt she’s a damn good actress and I have followed all her movies all of them and I love her music as well..PLEASE don’t ruin my friday nights that’s all I have forward to looking for is Ghost Whisperer besides there are so many people out there that really have this gift of passing on our loved ones this show helps people understand the paranormal a little more each time it airs….I beg of you no cancellations NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No the show is canceled Poppy, the dates these comments were made were before it was announced that ABC had decided against taking on Ghost Whisperer. SO it is canceled. The other post that states Ghost Whisperer has been saved was updated to reflect that and redirects people to this post here.

Thanks for the conformation penthius, I am sorry but I have a bittersweet feeling, Ms Hewitt is already talking about a new movie she will be in and the JKennedy ‘relationship’ at first was ‘okay’ then she tells of him cheating.I wonder if she fought for the show? I feel so bad for all the fans and the people who worked on the show, crew and actors. I wonder if they filmed in Canada? I loved the ‘town’ so homey , people in the town square ,ahh but I love small towns. I guess we will have to remember that if it had went on they must have found some kind of ‘storyline’, as I have said it just made little sense as of late, still a finale would have shown some gratitude to the fans who fought for the show. As you can tell, I am a little confused as to why JL Hewitt would have her name on a show and leave it in such disarray. Well good luck to all GW Fans! Catch it on Syfy on Mondays once or twice a month and WE weeknights.

I liked the show allot, but they, the writers and Ms.Hewitt, made a big mistake and it is sad, but true. They left so many stories unfinished and moved to another, which it to would be left unfinished. I still like the show and I have thought about it, and realised I know less than I did a year ago, and the sad part is no finale, Why? And again I thought , how could one be put together?

though i never lost anyone i love or know yet… but there are people that i want to know who died before i even born.. this movie makes me believe that i will see them one day.. when it’s my turn.. and make me believe that the people who are gone are gone for good and is in the best place… and am 12 years old right now…. i can’t sleep knowing that it will never be on again… and so are my friends… it makes me believe something more than just what it is in the show… and am sure other people does as well… besides i learn a lot from this show… the loves, the death, the staying behind because of worrying.. it all seems real and has a life… this show is even better than any other shows…. so please do get a 12 years old mind away… am only 12.. but i can speak for myself.

I’ve never seen ghost whisperer before and just started watching it a few months ago and is hook on it. I’m so sad to hear that they have cancel and even a little depress about it. I would rush home everyday after work just to catch two back to back episodes of it. First thing I do when I come home is turn on the tv to it. My fiance and son even learn not to interrupt while the show is on. Lolz….i never been hooked on any show like this show. I really hope u guys do come back on. I would love to see what has become of the cast and Aden growing up and Jim&Melinda characters just melts my heart.
