i have 2 really touching ones. the one where this young girl lost her boyfriend while he was playing football. that one really made me upset and happy at the end. it made me think about what if i ever lost my boyfriend to something like that;[. and also when jim died, and came back. i crieddd sooooo much in both. i love ghost whisperer. <333333333 im gonna be a fan for lifee<3

I remember one more – it was the second episode in Season 1 – about the little boy who passed on in a train accident and he couldnt understand that he was dead – that was sooo touching and sad and the little fella was so cute and played his part so well. Some of those episodes in Season 1 were really touching – the stories of the ghosts themselves.

Jim and Mel – gosh – so many touching moments – when Jim’s soul tries to explain to Mel that he’s no more and when he refuses to go into the light and enters Sam’s body. When Mel struggles wit her feelings for him in Season 4 and how he gets his memory back – that was so touching and finally when they marry again – that was so sweet and touching. Season 5′s episode 1 was touching with both of them and Aiden. It’s lovely to see them as a family.

I miss Professor Payne too !!!! I loved him and used to look forward to seeing what they would do with his character every week .
I liked him so much that I bought a t-shirt that said “professor payne is in the house” LOL
I remember the feeling when Mel told him what she could do and eventually how he became her “helper” , it was such a relief and so great for Mel to have someone that knew what she could do but also help her out – I think that was a great move !
But one of the most touching or emotional episodes for me would be the plane crash from season 1 and when we all discovered that Andrea had died in the first episode of Season 2 !
- I have never ever in all the tv I have ever watched , seen such a shocking episode that I totally did NOT see coming ! Fans were outraged and shocked and also very saddened all over the net , I think even more so than Jims death because as well now know Jim came back to us but Andrea did not , when she crossed over she was gone for good !

I really, really liked the car scene where she admitted to Proffessor Payne that she saw ghosts. And I can almost quote the Jay Mohr outdoor cafe speech where he admits that he has feelings for her. Just before she returns to the table. I can’t help it, I miss the Payne character. Its been a few years; maybe they’ll rescind his bannishment to the Himilayas?

Also, Melinda doesn’t visit Eli’s office; he’s just always there at her shop. He needs some more background cover/story as to why he’s always, always there. Please, someone, write him doing work at a shelter across the square or something, just for the continuity of having him w/i walking distance.

Yes, those was absolutely beautiful and touching moments that show true love. And David Conrad played it so well you would think he was really in love – he’s a fantastic actor!

When Jim died and was talking to Melinda in the hospital. When he explained what caused his death, and how he tried to block her from seeing him laying in the bed dead. Then, when he kept trying to appear to her and she couldn’t see him. The frustration on his face! Oh, but when she was finally able to see him at the “celebration” of his life. And like so many others..when Jim finally got his memory back!
In all honesty, this is only a few of my most touching episodes! Ghost Whisperer has too many to list when you get right down to it!

When Jim died, for sure. And he decided to enter in another man’s body instead going into the light, just to stay with Melinda. So sweet and very touching!

I agree with “Soph”^,Loved that one! Also,love the one where Jim refuses to go into the light but Melinda could not tell him to stay earthbound.Thers’ other too just can’t think of em off hand.The show is great,I’m very unemotional and I’ve cried a lot watching it.

The episode that really moved me was the season final of season 1.. When the airplane crashed! The way she crossed over all those ghosts and that her bestfriend also died
