I love the Ghost Whisperer, and one of my favorite characters was Prof. Payne. But I can’t remember which episode he first appeared in. Does anyone know?

    Rick Payne first meets Melinda Gordon in the episode Love Never Dies, where Melinda finds him teaching a class on the myths of the paranormal and the occult at Rockland University, which is somewhere near Grandview. Melinda first asks him about dark spirits and light spirits, then asks him to identify “Wide Brim” in order to win the battle for her friend, Andrea’s fate. Later that night, after arriving back at his office, he finds clippings of images on the walls and a dark motif favored by the Inca’s as a warning stating “Back off or die.”

    I believe he was in the first episode of the second season. If not the first then the second epiosde. But he didn’t appear until the second season.
