Questions About Ghost Whisperer?

I haven’t been watching recently, but I watched an episode and there was a ghost named Dr.Byrd. Who is he, and where did he come from?
Also I remember that Melinda found a hole in the basement of her store, and it lead to an underground town, and there was some bad person, that was similar to the devil, and he tried to get spirits to go with him instead of into the light. What happened to him?

Dr. Byrd first appeared in the episode “Delusions of Grandview”. He’s a ghost of a psychiatrist who was responsible for keeping some other ghosts from crossing over, namely the ghost who was influencing the children of a nursery school. He appeared once again in “Leap of Faith”. After interacting with Melinda on a few occasions, he saw the error of his ways.
As for the other character, the bad one, I’m not sure what happened to him.

does jim remember who he is, after he jumps into the body of another guy.does he get his memory back, and is melinda marring him as jim or sam.

i have some questions. 1: did melinda marry jim or sam? everyone calls him jim, but… 2. isn’t grandview a small town? you’d think that jim/sam would run into someone who went to jim’s funeral. but would they see jim or sam? 3. shouldn’t jim’s parents be told their son isn’t really dead? unless that’s sam… wouldn’t it be good if they could see their grandchild? i’m so confused! also, is it just me or has david conrad gone from being merely good looking to drop dead gorgeous? he seems to be getting better and better looking.

Im looking for the name of a song played at the end of an episode. It was season 4 and the episode was when Sam’s (ex-fiance) was leaving and he decided to stay with Melinda and find out just what they can have together. The lyrics were “stay with me”. The episode was about the ghost of a mother who had kept the secret of the son she gave up. Then when her daughter fell for him, she tried to keep them apart. She fell and hit her head on the fireplace and died. I have been looking for a long time for this song, then the episode played again monday jan 4th, and I am back to searching again.
