What Breed Was Homer, The Dog From Ghost Whisperer Season 1 Ep.5, Lost Boys?

In Ghost Whisperer Season 1 Episode 5, Lost Boys, there was a dog called Homer. Does anyone know what breed he was? I thought he might have been an Australian Shepherd but I’m not sure. Thanks.
