What Is Up With The Ghostwhisperer Story Plot?!?

So I know last season they left off with Melinda finding out that her real dad is dead and that this dad that she thought was her dad who left her when she was young was actually NOT her biological father.
The biological father is still alive…so then why is that when she goes to that underground town she sees his ghost? Why did the next season then suddenly jump to the issue of Jim’s dying.
Then they kind of neglected the other matter.
They seem mixed up. Or I AM mixed up.

I also think the plot is all mixed up I hope the writers know what they are doing. They have not let us down yet.

No, in my opinion you are not mixed up… the plots are a bit mixed up. They have left the issue of her father and seemed to have moved on the Jim’s death and resurection in the form of unknown persons dying body.
Personally I believe this has been a mistake. Views all over the net are complaing about the hicup, and Jim’s demise. So don’t feel like you’re alone… Many agree. They should have cleaned up that little issue first, since they spent so many episodes where Melinda goes on and on about her long lost father

did they not have sme kind of scuffle on a roof, and all that with her dad was sort of cleared up, he was prtending to be her dad and wasnt helping her at all, giving her false memories i think but your right they never followed it up because then there was the “shadowgate”

So maybe the writer’s will make it a storyline like Dallas had where Melinda wakes up and Jim’s death, the mixed story about her real father, etc., are just a bad dream?

I do not know why melinda had a few pregnant episodes then the baby was born and then he is five and the show goes on.I don’t like this.I guess it was easier for her to be an active Ghost Whisperer with a child instead of going through a colicy babyepisode while ghost are needing her right at that moment cause Jim has to work.I feel cheated out of the baby drama episodes.Maybe you could show them like flash back scenes?

Maybe if ABC picked it up they would finish up some story lines before moving on, do them nice and do them quickly, let the show make some sense , again.It has been awhile.I was so disappointed at the crossover Melinda did with previous shop ‘half owner’ . She gets this beautiful watch, has it inscribed with a beautiful loving inscription, makes a big deal out of it, they patch things up, but for the first time I have ever seen , she does not touch him or ‘leave a feeling’ she just goes, Here is her brother and she just goes? If they had not mended things, well she would have went another way, I was dumbfounded by it. It sucked.
If they do save the show (ABC) they better do something about Sam/Jim and I like his fireman buddy, It was like they made this small effort to get rid of anyone who would call him Sam. One, last thing, that was another storyline just dropped. Better writers JLHewitt
