I hope to God they are not even contemplating killing or re-killing Jim again !

If anyone , please let it be Eli aka Jamie Kennedy , no offence to Jamie but he has seen far too much air time lately and I am wondering if they have actually seen what the fans have been saying and well maybe its time to go Eli ?

I wish Melinda had asked the board a further question like … “is someone very close to me going to die” ………………….. here’s a thought , Professor Payne hasn’t been heard or seen of since he left and in real life we all know Jay Mohrs show is going really well and he won’t be coming back to GW so maybe , possibly they are just permanently tieing up that loose end ?

        hmmmmmmmmm

First, I really hate missing the first 3/4 of the show due to business hours, so please forgive my late comments.

I liked the shoe-level walking-in intro. The music was very nice too (always is, but that song, that intro worked as a combo). The Office Hours scene between Prof. Grant & Ned was Amazing. Good banter, good Sp. Effects… It just Worked! Well Done.

Next, I Loved the use of lunch at the outdoor cafe! (I hope craft-works lets the peeps eat outside sometimes. Its gotta beat the heck out of dust-cube ambiance.) Open air, good dialog, and it seemed like everyone was having fun, both IC and OOC. That was a lot of fun to watch.

Next, that was very cool to have a band at the gazebo. (That had to have been a Blast to film during too!) Melinda in a professor’s office felt so comfortable and familiar. If they make Prof. Grant a regular, that would be a cool spot to visit. And I missed her best dialog by the time I got home last night, so I have to give credit where credit is due.

Melinda’s kitchen explosion & the ruined art project: Some one has stepped up their A-game all right. (Welcome to parenthood in America!) Still, its cruel to break someone’s kitchen stuff, as you can never find replacements that match. (This says the guy still looking for replacement spoons that match our flatware that because ‘someone’ used to like to throw away his dirty spoons instead of leaving them on his plate. That and also as a parent who has had to talk a very sad child into being happy and inspired a second time to recreate a project that was sibling- or pet- destroyed.)

Video store romance. Cool subject matter & very topical. Never happened to me, but I’d be lying if I said I never saw people sneaking peaks at each other in the aisles. Kinda like ‘Hot Rental’, ‘Hot Rental’, hot renter, ‘Hot Rental’. I always hoped that some of those people would find the courage to say ‘hi’ to each other. You know, except the ones who are there with somebody already (and there were equal offenders of both genders on that one).

The shop ‘school project’ surprise visit. Yeah, The Magic’s Back. This episode Alone was an A+.

The only problem is, well, once you set a bar this high, fans are going to want that every week. Its easy for me; all I have to do is push a button & pay the cable bill. But being This good is a big commitment. Remember the ’98 Yankees, with 114 wins in a season? Sure they won the WS again in ’99, but there were still people saying “…yeah, but it wasn’t 114 wins…”.

All I’m saying is, when you pin the needle this many times in an episode, people remember….

This episode was great. I have one complaint though. Are we going to start calling the show Ned The Ghost Whisperer? It’s gotten to the point where we are seeing more of Ned then Melinda and Jim! I mean, sure, he’s great eye-candy..but good grief..the MAIN character is Melinda!

Yes I agree about Ned – for a few episodes now the most air time has been given to Ned and not ELI. Not that I’m complaining about seeing lesser about Eli, which is good, but too much of Ned is also well…to much. But too much of Jim is well…never too much!!!

The last part’s really scary though – who is it this time?? And why do they have to keep killing people? I do hope to God that its not a re-killing of JIM!!! That would be just hopeless! Eli – do u think they’d do that – wit his “close association” wit the producer.. I hope its not Delia, not Ned either. Surely not Aiden the cutie. Then who?????

can never have too much Jim ;) wouldn’t mind if some of the episodes were only about him.

and is it terrible that I’d rather them kill off Eli than anyone else? hahah..

Thankyou so much for providing these online!! I was able to get caught up in the whole series so I can start watching it when it airs on tv and not be so confused!!
I think the reason Eli and Ned are getting so much air time is because JLH is producing the show as well as staring in it so she needs more time off camera to get things the way she wants them to be. Also, in this show I’ve noticed that whenever a character starts getting more air time than usual, it’s usually that character that something happens to next. So…. then it might be either Eli or Ned that dies. On the other hand however, Delia has gotten less time so maybe she wants to be done with the show and they are going to write her out of the story by killing her. I REALLY don’t think they would rekill Jim, I’m sure they know that would be pushing viewers too far and it would ruin the show. I guess we’ll see soon!!
