Ghost Whisperer Season 6 Here We Come!
YES You read right! Season 6 has the green light because ABC have picked up our beloved tv show The Ghost Whisperer.
The internet has become a buzz with this news and fans are in meltdown mode but for a great reason.
This is really exciting news and thousands of you Ghost Whisperer fans should give yourselves a huge pat on the back because I believe it was with all your help , your love and your support for Ghost Whisperer that convinced ABC to make the deal official !
Congrats to everyone , I am so so happy about this . This could really be the best fresh beginning for our great tv show . Please join me and comment about your thoughts on this really good news!

I TOTALLY AGREE!!!! YAY!!!! I can’t wait to continue watching Ghost Whisperer. My adult daughter & I watch as many repeats as we can even if it’s hard to figure out which ones as it’s on a few channels where we live. But that’s no problem because we feel we aren’t missing much if we can watch all the ones that we possible can. Keep up the fantastic work! Love the show.

Not official yet as per my tweets, however as I believe an Announcement from ABC is Imminent , those were the exact words I was told and I believe that to mean after JLH’s appearance on The View. The news is coming from a source that is not Perez. The same message has been “leaked” to other sources as well including Spoiler sites, all I can say is be watching The View very closely !

…but before we get too carried away, I propose a moment of silence & respect for the hard work this team has ahead of them this Summer. When everything was with one network, every season was a smooth transition with time off for other projects, etc. Given the network transition, its likely this entire team will be putting in 7-day weeks until well after New Years. Think about it:
1) Take Stock: They are going to have to run a fine tooth comb through the entire product creation and delivery process from beginning to end to see who they can pin down to take with them and who they can’t. There may be contract negotiations involved, unions, studios (and 1000 others things I can only guess at) to see which assets/people/teams can be shaken loose and which ones can’t.
Mel Blanc said it best: “Think Fast, Rabbit…” (And move faster…)
2) The Spackle: There are going to be holes in the transition and people/departments/groups are going to be needed to fill those gaps. These will be new people, talented sure, but people who hve never ever worked together before & don’t know what to expect from each other. There is going to be a learning curve & there will need to be some team bonding for the synergy that this product needs. Remember, its different. Its written differently and its put together differently because it builds. Its going to take some adjusting to for the new people.
3) The Heavy Lifting: Once everyone/everything gets pinned down, this team is going to need to hit the ground running and All Summer Long. There’s going to be no time for hand holding and very little time for having to ask or give directions. For the entire team, this is going to get Hard. For some, this may end up being the single hardest Summer and Fall that they have ever worked through.
Still if there has ever been a team that has learned to work hard through adversity, from natural disasters like the set fire to the writers strike, its this one. I just wish they were an investment option for a 401-k.
Oddly enough, one of the best shows to take cues from what works & what doesn’t when changing networks is from the competion that CBS took from NBC: Medium. If you study the last few episodes from NBC & the first few on CBS, you’ll see the gaps where the spackle didn’t hold. If the team sees & studies these, they can learn from that other teams walk-thru and do better right out of the gate.

Who knows Stottie – I seriously do not know anymore , I am still being told to sit and wait , I dont know what that means , I believed it to be ABC taking it up and an announcement being made after The View, well I guess that part was correct …. maybe there is more news or more CORRECT news coming, i dont know but I refuse to give in just yet and believe anything until we really know its the end forever.

I’m so sick and tired of the sitting around in limbo! For crying out loud..surely some network has enough sense to pick up the best show on T.V. today!!! Good grief! What does it take to make a network stand up and take notice? There are millions of fans who are left hanging..dying to know what’s going to become of our show! CBS claims ratings were down. I think they need to learn how to COUNT!

Is it true that ABC has retracted the decision to pick up the show?? I saw a comment from Ian Sanders somewhere that said he regretted to say that the show was not continuing. It was dated today…… :’( Please say its not truee!!!! I loove GW too much to loose it!!!!

If each one of us think not to bother signing the petition and think everyone else will do it then nothing will happen. Each one of us can make a difference by signing the petition and also getting our friends and families involved.
I know some fans have facebook profiles and twitter accounts with hundreds of friends on them. Imagine if you got all of your friends involved and ask them for just 1 minute of there time to help you save your favourite show ? Then we would have thousands and thousands of signatures.
Unfortunately its hard work getting some people to take 1 minute out of there life to sign something for a friend for free, even with the 700 twitter followers I have , only about 100 have signed so far. I really makes you wonder – do people really care?
Not to sound negative as I hate negative talk but this is why shows get canceled , because people sit back and think others will take care of it.
I have seen thousands of fans out there on facebook,on twitter,myspace,everywhere all talking about how sad they are about Ghost Whisperer being canceled , well where are they then?

I am soooo mad about this-I only discovered this was happening at the end of August!!! I am still in shock!!! I was sooo looking forward to season 6 so I was checking the 2010 fall lineup for my favorite shows and that’s when I found out!!!! I think it’s unfair of the networks to just cut a show like that-it has been popular enough to last 5 seasons, what is so unfair about it is that they never gave the viewers a chance to Accept it ending-had they picked it up for one more season but announced that this was the finale season-THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE ACCEPTABLE !!! People do understand that realistically all good shows end eventually…
